After last week’s parishes of the Prnjavor Deanery, this week, in the parishes of the Bihać Deanery, the spiritual and pastoral action of the “Piety of Banja Luka diocese to Merciful Jesus” was continued.
On Sunday, March 17th, the image of the Merciful Jesus was in the parishes of Prijedor and Dubica. Concelebrated Mass celebration in both parishes was led over by bishop of Banja Luka Msgr. Franjo Komarica.
The preacher was father Vitold Piotr Pietrasinki, a longtime missionary of God’s Mercy from Poland. Holy Mass was concelebrated by local parish priest in Prijedor and the parish manager in Dubica rev. mr. Sc. Marko Vidović and rev. Angelo Bartulica.
The image was brought in at both Mass celebrations in a procession. By the end of the Mass, the bishop blessed the images of the Merciful Jesus, which are to be given to all parish families.
