On the Epiphany Day on January 6th, in the cathedral of Banja Luka, the 34th anniversary of the ordination of the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Dr. Franjo Komarica was celebrated.
The bishop led the Holy Mass celebration, and was assisted by the Auxiliary Bishop of Banja Luka, msgr. Marko Semren, Vicar of Diocese Msgr. Anto Orlovac and Rector of the Cathedral and Chancellor venerable Pero Ivan Grgić.
In a commemorative sermon, Msgr. Komarica interpreted the history and content of Epiphany. He emphasized God’s universal purpose for the salvation of all people and all corners of the globe. He then reminded those present of his bishop’s ordination, along with six other bishops from six continents, which was given to him at St. Peter’s Basilica by Holy Pope John Paul II.
After the Eucharist there was a gathering in front of the cathedral and in the premises of the Ordinary.
