Banja Luka’s Diocesan Shrine of St. Little Theresa in Presnače celebrated the feast of this saint on October 3rd.
The Holy Mass was led by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić with the concelebration of the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica and the Auxiliary Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Marko Semren and about 15 priests from the Banja Luka area.
At the beginning of the Eucharist, which was held in the churchyard due to epidemiological conditions, the parish priest, Msgr. Ivica Božinović addressed the present.
Towards the end of the Holy Mass, Msgr. Komarica encouraged those present to keep the memory of their martyrs.
Then a memorial to the martyrdom of the parish priest rev. Filip Lukenda and sister Cecilia Grgić placed in the churchyard on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of their murder, was revealed. The monument was designed by a young architect Dario Pleša from Banja Luka.
