A regular session of the Management Board of Caritas BiH was held at the Archbishop’s Residence in Sarajevo on October 26th, chaired by the President of Caritas BiH, the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić.
Participating members of the Management Board were: the general Vicars of the BiH Archdiocese, Directors of the National Caritas BiH and the Archdiocese Caritas. After the prayer, the agenda was adopted as well as the minutes from the last session of October 21st 2019.
Then, the discussion and conclusions focused on the following topics: the annual general, project and financial plan of Caritas BiH for 2021; the time of the coronavirus pandemic with regard to the charitable work of Caritas BiH; activities around some Caritas BiH facilities; Caritas Sunday in BiH 2020; the issue of secure employment in national and arch/diocesan Caritas; activities of Caritas BiH and arch/diocesan Caritas related to migrants in BiH; donation of Pope Francis through the Apostolic Nunciature for migrants/refugees in BiH, and the postponed celebration of the 25th anniversary of Caritas BiH due to the pandemic.
In the end, it was agreed that the next session would be held on May 5th 2021.
