MEETING OF THE BISHOPS OF BK BIH AND MEMBERS OF KVRPP BIH
The sixteenth meeting of the Bishops of the BK BiH with the members of the Conference of Senior Religious Leaders of BiH (KVRPP) was held on April 21st in the premises of the Ordinariate in Sarajevo.
The Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić, the president of the BK BiH, presided, and the following participated: Archbishop Coadjutor Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica and Auxiliary Bishop of Banja Luka Msgr. Marko Semren, OFM, as well as the President of the Religious Conference, the Provincial of Bosna Srebrena, OFM Jozo Marinčić, and 14 members of the KVRPP.
A review of the last meeting held on November 6th 2020. was first heard, and then cardinal Puljić had a presentation on the topic of togetherness. In a fruitful discussion, concrete examples were given of strengthening religious communion.
On the same day, the 12th meeting of members of the BK BiH and the Franciscan Provincials was organized, which, in addition to OFM Jozo, was also attended by the Provincial of the Herzegovina Franciscan Province, OFM Miljenko Šteko.
Among other things, the participants listened to the report of the head and deputy of the Deacon’s Pastoral Year, a professor at the KBF, Msgr. Pavo Jurišić and the priest at the Franciscan Theology, OFM Miro Relota.
The participants exchanged opinions and experiences regarding the long-standing effort, which the authorities are obstructing, to return or make available to all individuals, institutions and the Church, the properties that were confiscated during the communist rule.
