In the night from Thursday to Friday, for now unknown persons broke in to the Catholic cemetery chapel in the parish of St. Ana in Bihać.
On his visit to the chapel of St. Anthony on the cemetery Križ – Žegar in the parish of St. Anthony, parish priest OFM Bono Tomić noticed that one of the windows was broken and the things inside were moved, so there was a small material damage. Local police upon contacting came and did the inspection.
According to the video, it is noticeable that two persons – obviously migrants – during the night came to the chapel where they obviously thought they will find material benefits.
OFM Bono sadly said that this the third attack on Catholic sanctities in this city in the last year and said he is hoping that the perpetrators will be arrested and sanctioned so these happenings don’t occur again.
It is obvious that these vandal acts upset small Catholic community that in the city of Bihać makes only about 2% of residents. However, with all this it is surprising that not even the local TV gave any attention to this incident.
