THE BISHOP LED A HOLY MASS ON THE FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

On the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, December 8th, the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica led the Holy Mass in Marija Zvijezda in concelebration with the parish priest father Zvonko Topić.

At the beginning of the Eucharist, Msgr. Komarica expressed his joy for the faithful and great worship of Our Lady in the diocese he heads. He thanked the local worshipers, who even before the Eucharist had their “regular” devotion in honour of the Immaculate, for their perseverance in prayer and deeds of Christian love. He also interpreted the significance of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception for the life of Christ’s Church and for the faithful conduct of each of its members.

After the Holy Mass, Bishop Franjo talked to the members of the prayer community and informed them about the work done so far and plans for the future of the European Centre for Peace and Cooperation in the Marija Zvijezda Meeting House. He asked them to invite both their evicted and exiled parishioners to join the club Prijatelji Marija Zvijezda (Friends of Marija Zvijezda), which is being established in several European countries.
