KATOLIČKI TJEDNIK LAUNCHES A WEB PORTAL NAMED NEDJELJA.BA

On Monday, June 26th, at 3 PM, a new portal of Katolički tjednik, www.nedjelja.ba, becomes active.

The web portal will be released ceremoniously online in the presence of the staff and editorial board of the Katolički tjednik, by the Vrhbosna Archbishop Vinko card. Puljić in the premises of the Media Center of Vrhbosna Archdiocese (MCVN) – on address Pruščakova 13, Sarajevo.

The MCVN Director rev. Miroslav Ćavar, will firstly address and greet the present, and then Editor-in-Chief of Katolički tjednik, ma. rev. Josip Vajdner will present the idea and the realization of the portal that is named Nedjelja, the same name that this weekly newspaper was launched under in 1922. The ceremony will be concluded, with appropriate words and prayers, and then the release of the portal online, by Archbishop Vinko.

The new Internet platform launched by Katolički tjednik on the 15th anniversary of its renewed work and the 95th year of its initial launch is a step that this media wants to make in the field of digital technologies with the aim of enriching the public space with Catholic content. Also, part of the portal that is in English will present to the wider, international auditorium, the life and activity of the Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition, part of the video production of Katolički tjednik, which will be as a component of the future web portal can already be followed and seen on a Facebook page called Nedjelja and Youtube channel of the same name.
