On May 7th, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, Margret Uebber, visited the headquarter of the Banja Luka Diocese and met with her host, the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica.
The meeting was also attended by the director of the Caritas of the Diocese, Msgr. Miljenko Aničić.
During the conversation, the current problems and needs of the local population were presented, as well as the problems of migrants from Asian and African countries located in the Una-Sana Canton, which are also cared for by the diocesan Caritas.
Mrs. Uebber, accompanied by Bishop Komarica, also visited the headquarter of the parish of Marija Zvijezda, which is located in a Trappist monastery. There, they were welcomed by the parish priest father Zvonko Topić and three young architects from Banja Luka.
In the evening, the Ambassador was present at the first in a series of three organ concerts in the Banja Luka parish church, organized by the Banja Luka Branch of HKD Napredak, which was also sponsored by the German Embassy.
