MEETING OF THE BISHOP OF BK BIH WITH MEMBERS OF KVRPP BIH
The fifteenth meeting of the Bishops of the BK BiH with the members of the Conference of Senior Religious Leaders (KVRPP) of BiH was held on November 6th in the premises of the Ordinariate in Sarajevo.
The meeting was chaired by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić, and all members of the BK BiH were present.
Participants were: the Provincial Head of the SMI, sister M. Ana Marija Keste; the Provincial Head of the SSF, sister M. Kata Karadža; the Provincial Head of Mercy sisters of St. Vincent de Paul, sister M. Julijana Djaković; OFM Iko Skoko as a delegate of the Provincial of the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina OFM Miljenko Šteko; representative of the Sisters of the Daughters of God’s love, sister Davorka Šarić; representative of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, sister Klara Puljić; representative of the Ursuline sisters, sister Elvira Krišto; and member of the Jesuits, father Mato Anić.
After referring to their last year’s meeting dedicated to missions, participants agreed on the importance of ongoing commitment for missions and missionaries.
Then they listened to the presentation of the Auxiliary Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Marko Semren on the apostolic letter in the form of the motu proprio of Pope Francis Communis vita (Common Life).
During the fruitful discussion, opinions were exchanged on the situation in the religious communities in the local Church in BiH.
Good examples and initiatives were also mentioned, which enable monks and nuns to undergo spiritual renewals and joint meetings.
