The Council for the Liturgy of the Bishops’ Conference of BiH held a regular session on March 13th, chaired by the Bishop of Banja Luka and the president of this Council, Msgr. Franjo Komarica.
All members participated: Msgr. Tomo Knežević, sister Vinka Bešlić, OFM Anthony Burnside, Rev. Marko Stanušić and Rev. Ivan Rako, and they were joined by the Secretary General of the BK BiH, Msgr. Ivo Tomašević.
First, the minutes from the last session of October 22nd 2020. were heard, and then Msgr. Komarica introduced the audience to part XXIII. of the regular session of the members of BK BiH and HBK, from February 23rd, in which they discussed common liturgical issues.
The members of the Council discussed the agenda for the joint session of the Liturgical Commission of HBK and the Council for Liturgy of the BK BiH, which will be held on March 16th in Zagreb on the topic of translating the new Missal, printing of church song collection and some other issues.
It was concluded that on that occasion an attempt should be made to agree on a more effective way of cooperating on common liturgical issues at the level of the two bishop’s conferences, but not forgetting individual dioceses outside those areas that use the Croatian language.
The meeting ended with a prayer.
