The regular session of the Governing Board of Caritas BiH was held on May 5th in the premises of the Archbishop’s Residence in Sarajevo.
The session was convened and chaired by the President of Caritas BiH, Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić. Members of the Governing Board participated: Vicars General of the BiH Archdiocese and Directors of Caritas BiH and Arch/diocesan Caritas.
After prayers and greetings, the proposed agenda was accepted and the minutes of the last regular session of October 26th 2020. were adopted.
Then, the topics that are crucial for the further construction of Caritas BiH in order to achieve its mission as well as possible were discussed.
The discussion and conclusions focused on, among others, the following topics: Rulebook on secure employment, Rulebook on conflict of interest and Rulebook on communication and public relations, new Caritas BiH website, review of assistance to earthquake victims in Banovina in Croatia, Week solidarity of the Church in Croatia and activities related to the Caritas House in Sarajevo and the multipurpose centre. The media presence of Caritas in BiH and the situation with migrants were also discussed.
The next date of the session of the Management Board in October has also been agreed.
