The new Provincial Superior of the Sisters of the Society of Missionaries of Love, sister Cecile Lip, a native of Poland, visited the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica and Auxiliary Bishop Msgr. Marko Semren, OFM.
The provincial superior was accompanied by the provincial of the Banja Luka monastery of these sisters, sister Marija Anđela Majstorović. It was the new provincial’s first official visit to her sisters working in Banja Luka and Bihać.
In the building of the Ordinariate, the current migrant issues in the area of Una-Sana Canton were discussed, where the sisters of this society provide valuable assistance to numerous migrants from Asian and African countries.
Bishop Komarica thanked the heads of the sisters for the valuable testimony of selfless Christian love that their sisters have been giving to many people in difficult life situations in Banja Luka and other parts of his diocese for years.
He emphasized that the sisters of St. Mother Teresa are a great enrichment in the efforts of other religious communities in the diocese to contribute to the healing of many unhealed wounds from the last war.
